Bryna Abtan
Meet Bryna Abtan, Office Manager/Registered Massage Therapist

As the second part of our husband and wife team, Dr. Abtan (or Ollie as I call him) and I  have been working together for over 10 years.  I truly dedicate my time and energy to ensure our clinic is a compassionate, caring and healing environment for our patients, staff and associates alike.  My goal is to ensure that we have created a warm and friendly family atmosphere where your health and well-being is the number one priority.  All of our staff and associates were carefully chosen by myself to provide our patients with the highest quality of care.

Aside from managing the practice at CHCG, I have run a successful practice as a Registered Massage Therapist for over 12 years.  I have worked with chronic pain and rehabilitation specialists, chiropractors, physiotherapists and have a special interest in prenatal and postnatal (pregnancy) massage and women's health issues.

Health & Wellness is not just our business, it's our lifestyle.  We strongly believe in putting words into action and our four wonderful children are great motivators.

Your health is my priority.

Monique Miller
Meet Monique Miller, Registered Massage Therapist

Prior to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist in 1999, I completed a four year Bachelor of Arts from York University. After working as an RMT for two years, I once again went back to school to attain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University in 2005. I have completed a Level I certification in Thai Massage from Sutherland and Chan and plan to complete the remaining two levels in the future. During my years as a therapist and while working with this clinic, I have always and will continue to participate in and promote a healthy lifestyle, since for me, massage therapy is instrumental, in people living healthier, longer and stress reduced lives.

Sheera Stern
Meet Sheera Stern, Registered Massage Therapist

“I love seeing patients get well. When they tell me about having more energy, less stiffness and greater flexibility, it makes me feel great!”

Sheera is a registered massage therapist and has been with the Corrective Healthcare team since 2006. She was a medical assistant in the Canadian forces for six years in addition to studying Kinesiology. Her training and experience has given her a vast knowledge of structural anatomy, orthopedic assessments, pathologies, remedial exercises and hydrotherapy.

“While my background and experience permits me to find the areas that need attention, the best part of my job is making a real connection with patients.”

Sheera enjoys treating a variety of conditions using Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger-point therapy, joint mobilizations and myofascial release. When combined with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care, it’s an unbeatable combination.

“Whether it’s for an injury or stress-reduction, make massage therapy part of your health care routine. I do!”

Clarence Crawford
Meet Clarence Crawford, Registered Massage Therapist

Clarence left behind 18 years in the information technology/senior management corporate world, to return to school full time in Jan 2006 to become a Registered Massage Therapist at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy.

Many have asked why such a career switch? While I.T. can be very financially rewarding, I find that you cannot put a price on stress free and helping people. I often tell people that I have had more people say “Thank you” in the first week of massage therapy than 18 years in I.T.

Clarence is a practicing Reiki Master since 2005 and also a Certified Personal Trainer. Clarence holds a certification in pre/post natal pregnancy massage and IFC/TENS – Ultrasound.

Clarence has a love for the natural healing arts and plans to further his natural healing modalities by adding Cranio Sacral Therapy, Thai Massage and Matrix Repatterning.  Clarence has a goal of making it on to the 2010 Winter Olympics massage therapy team.  Clarence’s motto is "Find a career you LOVE and you will never have to WORK another day in your life"

My treatment goals are to help assist my clients to heal themselves, not only with hands on techniques, but also homecare tips and exercises including visualization and empowerment.

Dr. Olivier Asks some important questions of interest to Scarborough residents - Chiropractor Scarborough Dr. Olivier Asks...

What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Scarborough chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
